Written Reports Y1-6

Your child will be bringing home their written report today. We have introduced a new format for these reports this year to reflect changes in the Primary Curriculum and to support our school data tracking system ‘Target Tracker’.

A lot of time and effort has gone into the writing of your child’s report by their class teacher and the report covers all aspects of your child’s learning.

You will not be automatically offered a parent, teacher meeting unless you need to discuss concerns about an aspect of the report.

We will welcome feedback about the new report format. Thank you in advance.

Parents evening for EYFS

Written Reports for pupils in EYFS will be prepared at the end of the Summer term and so parents of EYFS pupils will be offered a parent consultation appointment on Tuesday 22nd March. Letters will be sent home today.

Mothers’ Day Gifts

Our fabulous parents group Friends of Kilby, successfully raised funds for school by organising a Mothers’ day gift donation. We had many lovely toiletries for the children to choose from and parent volunteers helped pupils wrap their chosen gift.

I hope all mums were delighted to receive their Mother’s Day surprise.

Special Mothers Assembly

Our special assembly featured some lovely musical performances, songs and poems. We were delighted to see so many family and friends could join us and then stay to read with their child in the classroom.

World Book Day

Pupils dressed as book characters for World Book Day and enjoyed a day of reading activities. Prizes were given to the most imaginative costumes and the winners were: Thomas Berry as Lanky Len, Alex Smith as The Highway Rat, Archie Canton as Zog, Poppy Billson as the Cat in the Hat, Nikoletta Provata as Calamity Jane, Erin Taylor as the Doctor from Grandpa's Great Escape and Kaleché Matthew-Shaw as Cruella De Vil.

Easter Music Festival

Plans are well under way for our Easter Music Festival which features performances by all classes and musical groups. We do hope you are able to join us for this special event.

Collective Worship

This week in prayers we will be thinking about: Forgiveness

Monies

There are a number of outstanding payments for this month.

Please can any outstanding monies be paid to the office as soon as possible. Please use the envelope provided and indicate what the money is for.

Paying In Advance

Paying in advance wherever possible makes less work for our office staff. If you are able to pay for the half term or the month ahead this is a huge help.
