Class 3 Information 2016

HOMEWORK
Children should try to do some reading every night – this could be their reading book, comic or topic book. Please remember to record when you have heard your child read in their reading record.

A new learning challenge will be set every FRIDAY to be completed throughout the week in their LEARNING LOGS. We will have a Learning Log session to share our work with our friends on a FRIDAY so all work should be finished by then.  It is important that your child brings their learning logs to school by Wednesday.  Each week there will be a certificate given out for ‘Learning Log of the Week’ for someone who has shown outstanding effort.

SPELLINGS

Children have a daily phonics session and we follow the Read, Write, Inc. spelling group scheme.
